About us

A second house in a fantastically beautiful place suddenly became reality for us in 2021. Although we weren't looking for a holiday home, we were immediately excited when our friends sent a message: 'Our neighbor's house is for sale!' They already had a holiday home in Austria where they enjoyed vacationing several times a year. Would that be something for us too?

Tranquility and a beautiful landscape

We immersed ourselves in the possibilities. A beautiful large house with a garden in a region where you can enter another country in no time and step into a completely different culture. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature, perfect for going on endless hikes. The area exudes so much tranquility. In winter, you can take a walk to the ski slope and summer offers a lovely Mediterranean climate. That's what makes a real holiday! We took the plunge and bought the house: this is the place where we and our family will make beautiful memories for years to come.

Italy and Slovenia around the corner

We are now fully enjoying our holiday house, which we have furnished to become a beautiful home. In the winter, we take a walk to the ski slope or go for a long hike through the snow and when we return we curl up together around the wood stove. In the summer, the tranquility of the landscape is a relief, we take a dip in the warm lakes in the vicinity, go on a cultural trip to Slovenia or we visit a terrace in the Italian Tarvisio.
